How to Unlock Every Blood Dungeon Bunkmate

Messhof lists nine unlockable playable characters. Five of them have an unlock condition stated outright in the achievement list, which also tells you how many players have met it — so this is a difficulty order, not a guess.

For what each character actually does once unlocked, see the bunkmate roster.

Leggy — kill 50 spiders

The one you will get without trying. Spiders are common enough that 50 accumulates over a couple of runs. Worth having early anyway: Leggy’s webs slow, damage over time and leave climbable surfaces, and the extra Luck quietly improves every roll for the rest of the run.

Skinja — avoid damage for two minutes

Two clean minutes, not two minutes of good luck. The reliable approach is to go vertical early: walls and ceilings put distance between you and ground-bound enemies, and the arena’s early waves are the safest window you will get. Do it in an arena you already know.

Leech — kill Wyrm inside 30 seconds

This is a damage check disguised as a boss fight, and it is why it belongs after you understand the level-10 blood curve. Go in with a focused build rather than a broad one — feed duplicates into your main weapon instead of spreading picks across three half-finished attacks.

Baby — buy 10 items at the Bone Shop

Pure accumulation. Every run you finish adds bones, and ten purchases is a matter of runs rather than skill. The 72.7% completion rate says most players get there in the normal course of playing.

Bug — stay airborne for five seconds

The wall. Only 18.2% of players hold this one, against 72%+ for the four above — a four-fold drop, and by far the sharpest cliff in the unlock list.

Five uninterrupted seconds off every surface is not something a normal run produces. It is the clearest example of the pattern described in the tips guide: the condition wants you to stop playing well and go do something specific. Pick a wide-open arena section, get height first, and treat the attempt as a throwaway run.

The two nobody can name

Seven bunkmates can be named from a first-party or on-screen source — the five above plus Gun Man and Barbarian, neither of which has a documented unlock. That leaves two of Messhof’s nine unaccounted for.

Four names float around Messhof’s own material without ever being called characters: Powder Keg and Revivalist appear in the 26 August hotfix notes as things that had bugs, and Hypnomancer and Krug are achievement names tied to specific boss kills. Any of them could be a bunkmate. None of them is confirmed as one, so this site does not list them as roster entries.

If you have the full roster on screen, tell us and the page will be updated with the source noted.

Beating every level with every character

The rarest achievement in the game, Bunkhouse, asks exactly that. 0.1% of players hold it — roughly one in a thousand. Worth knowing before you set it as a goal.
